Where searches start
6 Places That Generate Searchlight Searches
Searchlight has no commercial district in the city sense. Demand gathers at a crossroads, a lake, a community center and a monument boundary. Each place pulls a different search, so each gets its own page plan.

The US-95 and NV-164 junction
Downtown Searchlight
The town’s crossroads. US-95 runs north to Boulder City and south to Laughlin and Needles, NV-164 heads west as Nipton Road toward I-15 and the Mojave National Preserve, and Cottonwood Cove Road drops east to the lake. Fuel, food and lodging sit along this short stretch, and so does almost every split-second search decision a driver makes.

10000 Cottonwood Cove Rd, 14 miles east

Per the National Park Service’s Cottonwood Cove page, it has a beachside motel, around 75 full-hookup RV sites, 45 campsites, launch ramps, fuel, boat and houseboat rentals, slips and dry storage.
